20 participants expected. Pair up and drive 40 laps each in 4 sets of 10, swopping over with partner. $35 per person



8, 9 August Ulysses National North Island Remembrance Run, Taupo

September: Sunset Ride one Sat evening to be advised

Early October: 4 Points North Island Rally organised by Manawatu Ulysses

Labour Weekend 25, 26, 27 Oct: Trip thru the top of the south, inc Motorbike street races at Greymouth

  • Sat 25th : Picton, Kaikoura, Waiau, Culverden, Amberley, Ashley, Oxford, Springfield (396km)

  • Sun 26th: Arthurs Pass, Greymouth for viewing street races, Punakaiki, Westport, (286km)

  • Mon 27th: Murchison, Kawatiri, Belgrove, Richmond, Nelson, Havelock, Picton for 3pm ferry. (328km)

Depending on who's interested and their time availability, this could become a 4 day trip extending to Tuesday 28th, staying Sun night in Greymouth, and riding the Buller Gorge and Lewis Pass to Hanmer Springs on Monday, then home on Tues.

2.  Rally point at Featherston before moving off for a morning coffee at Martinborough where the large group split into a variety of smaller groups finding a number of different cafes – the whole group would have taken too long at any one cafe – nothing organised – just the way it turned out and perhaps people recognising the potential delay at one spot?.
3. Ride onto Gladstone for lunch.
After lunch the group split into smaller groups as usual to come home at a speed and route of their choice
