2.  Rally point at Featherston before moving off for a morning coffee at Martinborough where the large group split into a variety of smaller groups finding a number of different cafes – the whole group would have taken too long at any one cafe – nothing organised – just the way it turned out and perhaps people recognising the potential delay at one spot?.
 
3. Ride onto Gladstone for lunch.
 
After lunch the group split into smaller groups as usual to come home at a speed and route of their choice
