The Ulysses Club of New Zealand

The Ulysses Club of NZ Inc. for older motorcyclists, one of the largest organizations of its kind in New Zealand, is now a familiar part of this country's riding scene.

All of our branches hold regular rides and social get togethers, for more information on events in your region go to the Branches page and either click on the link to your local branch website, or email or telephone the branch contact for more information. Usually they will be able to provide you with a runs list so you can go along. You will find we are a friendly bunch and while we are a club for motorcyclists over 40, the emphasis is more on the social side of motorcycling. Spouses and partners are encouraged to take part in our events.

VALE STEPHEN DEARNLEY, OLD NUMBER 1

Stephen dearnley

It is with the heaviest of hearts that the National Committee announces the passing, in Australia, of our founding member, Old Number 1, Stephen Dearnley.  As can be appreciated, it is a sad time for his family and those close to him.

Knowing the love that many members have for Stephen, the family realises the many cards and condolence messages will follow. In respect of their privacy and sadness at this time, the National Committee asks that all condolences be sent via the National Administration Office.
P O Box 40218, Upper Hutt 5140.

Although Stephen’s funeral will be a private affair for family and invited friends, the National Committee advises that a memorial service will be held at the Australian AGM Event 2012 at Mildura.  We hope that the membership can be there to celebrate the life and legacy that this man leaves.  Please appreciate this is a difficult time for all.

On behalf of the National Committee
Peter McIntosh
President
Ulysses Club of NZ Inc.
